LEVEL 6 STEEL SKIN THIS POWER DEMONSTRATES the EFFECTS THAT TIME HAS OVER THE PRETERNATURAL HARDNESS OF THE VAMPIRE'S SKIN. A VAMPIRE WITH STEEL SKIN BECOMES INCREDIBLY DURABLE AGAINST MELEE AND UNARMED ATTACKS, TO THE POINT WHERE WEAPONS MAY SHATTER AND BREAK AGAINST THEIR SKIN. AS WELL, UNARMED ATTACKS MAY ACTUALLY CAUSE THE ATTACKER TO SUFFER INJURY TO THEMSELVES. ANY TIME THAT A MELEE ATTACK IS MADE, THE PLAYER ROLLS THEIR BODY RATING, WHILE THE GAMEMASTER ROLLS THE OBJECT'S RESISTANCE RATING (TARGET NUMBER 4 FOR BOTH). IF THE PLAYER SCORES MORE SUCCESSES THAN THE OBJECT, IT SHATTERS AND BREAKS UPON HIS BODY. THE VICTIM STILLS TAKES DAMAGE NORMALLY, IF THE ATTACK IS SUCCESSFUL, BUT THE ATTACKER LOSES THE USEFULNESS OF THE WEAPON THEREAFTER. NOTE, THAT THIS POWER DOES NOT WORK AGAINST MAGICAL WEAPONS OR LIGHTSABERS.

ON A SUCCESSFUL UNARMED ATTACK AGAINST AN OPPONENT WITH THIS POWER, THE ATTACKER MUST RESIST DAMAGE (STARTING AT MODERATE) EQUAL TO HALF THE NET SUCCESSES ROLLED, WITH THE POWER LEVEL BEING HALF THE TARGET'S BODY RATING. IF THE CHARACTER LOSES ON THEIR ATTACK THEN THEY WOULD TAKE ADDITIONAL DAMAGE, CALCULATED THE SAME AS ABOVE. THE STEEL SKIN POWER IS AUTOMATIC AND IS "ALWAYS ON".
